It would be good if such a sentiment is rooted in reality. But the fact is that these up beat sentiments should be grounded in reality with the problems faced in Europe and the Euro and the sluggish US economy. But then again QE3 can come to the rescue and another round of giving away in essence free money won’t hurt, of course there is the small problem of further devaluing the US dollar.


Private equity firms are more bullish about investment opportunities in 2012 than they were in 2011, but they don’t expect a surge in capital raising this year.
A 28-page study, released this week by professional services firm Rothstein Kass, found that 77 percent of 293 private equity firms polled believed there would be more attractive investment opportunities this year than last.
